Groove Garden Dhanaulti is a retreat located in Dhanaulti, a small hill station in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan region. The hotel is surrounded by lush green trees and provides a 360 degree view of magnificent mountains, including the mighty, snow-capped Himalayas. The town of Dhanaulti, is positioned at an altitude of 2,286 meters above sea level. As a consequence of this height, this town experiences snowfall every year, from December to March. Nonetheless, due to its closeness to the Himalayas, you are sure to experience chilly winds and a cool temperature during the summer, to beat your summer blues. When the snow falls, the entire town gets covered in a thick blanket of white and the view is heavenly and surreal.
Groove Garden Dhanaulti offers 5 varieties in terms of rooms. The varieties are as follows:
1. Swiss Chalet: The Swiss Chalet is one of the most popular and sought after variety and is situated on the top-most floor of the hotel, offering the best possible views. The rooms are entirely made up of Canadian pine woods and Deodar, including the ceiling, walls and the floor. Two or more of the walls are entirely made up of glass for providing magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. The room accommodates upto 3 adults and includes a private balcony, a washroom with a geyser, a dressing room and a 32-inch LG/Sony tv.
2. Junior Wooden Suite: Like the Swiss Chalet, the junior wooden suites too are made up entirely of Canadian pine wood and Deodar and are placed on ground and the 1st floor of the property. The junior wooden suite consists of 2 rooms with a single entry and is able to accommodate upto 5 people. The first room consists of a 4X6 bed fitted with a roller bed (3X6) beneath it and the second room includes a king-size bed. This category too, includes a private balcony, a private washroom with geyser, a dressing room and a 32 inch LG/Sony tv.
3. Super Deluxe: This category is placed on the 1st floor of the property. Super Deluxe rooms accommodate upto 3 adults and consists of a single bed in addition to a double bed. 1 or 2 sides of the room are made up of glass to offer best possible views. The room also has a private balcony, in addition to a private washroom with geyser and a 32 inch LG/Sony tv.
4. Suite: The Suites are placed on the ground and 1st floor of the property. They can accommodate upto 4 adults and have 2 rooms with a single entry. Both the rooms contain double-beds. In addition to this, the suite has 2 washrooms (1 with geyser), a kitchenette, a sofa set and a 32 inch LG/Sony tv.
5. Deluxe: The Deluxe rooms are located on the ground floor of the property and can accommodate upto 2 adults. The room has a private washroom with geyser, a 32 inch LG/Sony tv and a splendid view of the mountains.

As for nearby tourist attractions, you have plenty of options. The hill station Mussoorie, lies at a distance of 32kms from our hotel. The world-famous Tehri Lake, which is a 42 sq. km wide lake, is 40 kms away, where you can enjoy boating, jet-skiing, site seeing and other seasonal water sports such as para gliding and scuba diving. Surkhanda Devi temple is merely 3.2 kms away, from where you can enjoy breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains. The town of New Tehri lies at a distance of 37 kms, from where you can enjoy scenic views.
If you are coming to/from Dehradun, your best bet to reach Dhanaulti is through the Mussoorie bypass. The total distance would be of 63 kms and would take 2-2.5 hours, the road being fairly nice and smooth. The second route to reach Dhanaulti from Haridwar is through Rishikesh-Chamba-Dhanaulti, which is an all-weather road and would take around 2-2.5 hours. If you wish to travel by train, the closest railway station is situated in Dehradun, from where you can hire a cab or take a bus to Dhanaulti. For tourists travelling by air, the nearest airport is situated in Jollygrant, which is at a distance of about 86 kms.
